Terri “TJ” Schuh also known as "Terri Shu," is an up and coming new artist who comes from a family of entertainers. Her grandfather is William Guest of Gladys Knight and the Pips but she chooses to make her mark on her own. She has a very Indie sound with a little bit of rock and R&B all rolled up into one. You can find her performing all over the city and surrounding areas singing cover tunes and her originals. Terri is 20 years old and attended DIME (Detroit Institute of Music Education), a custom-built music school for those students serious about being a part of the music industry.
All she wanted to do is sing. Terri’s journey started when she got the lead in her first musical in high school as Jean Valjean in Les Miserable. Yes, she played a man and was fabulous!! She wanted to follow in her Papa’s footsteps, her best friend, William Guest of Gladys Knight and the Pips. Terri is his Legacy. Before he passed away, he was able to see her walking the path he left for her. Working with her mother (Monique Guest), Nana (Patricia Guest), and with Deborah Stubbs, daughter of Four Tops Levi Stubbs, uniting these two Motown Legacy families. What better path could her Papa have left for her to follow on.
